Founder and President
Hi! I'm Anna and I am the founder and president of Your Light International. As a photographer for the past 16 years I have come to see the importance and emotional impact that comes with family photography. Coupled with my formal education in sociology these two passions have formed a nice matrimony in creating Your Light. I have experience working with at risk youth in treatment centers, correctional facilities, and throughout the state. I have served on a service board as a program manager, coordinator, and marketing director. I have also worked with another non profit, Sowers of Hope, as the logistics and administrative coordinator. I served an LDS mission in the country of Armenia and recently had the opportunity to return as a photographer participating in a visual story telling workshop held by a National Geographic photographer.
I am married to my best friend and together we have two little girls ages four and two.

Chris Dickinson- Co-founder
It wouldn't be uncommon to find this international award-winning, banker-turned-photographer propped on his elbows in the mud, boots covered in manure, facing a rearing horse, all for the sake of the perfect shot.
He's a man who does whatever it takes to achieve greatness. Early in life, Chris was inspired as a young boy looking through National Geographic magazines at his local library. Today he is always on the lookout for a different angle, a new way to push himself while exploring a deeper creativeness beyond the technical limitations of his image creating tools.
He has been published in numerous magazines and advertising campaigns, and over the last seven years, has run events which provide free photographic services to those in need within the local community. Nearly all of Chris' Western work has been captured right here in Utah with the local cowboys and cowgirls of the American West.
Chris resides in Salt Lake City with his lovely wife Joe, who is also an entrepreneur and small business owner. Between them they have three children, Sydney (16), Riley (15), and Cheyenne (14).
Meredith recently moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho and is currently the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce. Before moving to Idaho she lived in Denver working as the Director of Theatre Programs for Englewood Schools, where she taught full time and managed the district's theatre program for three secondary-level schools in a high-poverty zone.
She has lived on three continents working as a media and publicity specialist, journalist, and freelance videographer. While in Peru she worked as the media specialist and photographer for the nonprofit, "Feed the World," which worked to build rural farming families to become nutritionally self-reliant. Then in China, she studied Mandarin at Capital Normal University, worked as a private tutor to English immersion students, and volunteered at a migrant primary school.
In each of these areas she met countless hard working parents who sacrificed all their time and energy to provide a better life for their children—yet couldn't provide a simple family portrait to capture the light they strived to nurture in their children's eyes. This is why she is so proud to be a board member with Your Light International.
